Boca Digital's third release is, in the artist's own words, "a four year accumulation of personal development coalesced into three months of hard work." That certainly rings true here, as the COVID era has seen the Kansas-born, Tucson-based producer compose two full albums and well over four dozen tracks since picking up Ableton three short months ago...

And while that kind of prolific spirit is impressive in its own right, it's Marb's unmistakable voice, one that shines through no matter the medium—be it behind the camera, DAW, or mobile app "Music Maker Jam"—that draws us to his work. There is always a rare sense of danger; a sense that anything could happen at any moment. His new work retains that fearlessly experimental quality, but with a newly emergent melodic DNA that feels more personal and, well, horny~
