Boca Digi's first trip around the sun is celebrated here with Marbelite's sprawling Solarpunk opus, "EcoCure." Jay calls it his TRUE debut album, and it certainly does feel that way — blending the artist's naturally deft experimental instincts with crystalline sound design and classic songwriting sensibilities that playfully evoke 1970s early electronic OGs. This heady concept album could only be explained by the man himself:

"In making EcoCure, I flew high in the skies, danced my heart out with the bass of the earth, swam in the bluest of seas, and learned what it meant to connect with my Sol. EcoCure started out as an experimentation with Solarpunk themes and ended up taking me on a spiritual journey through dance music. EcoCure is comprised of four distinct sections. Eolika, which means air, makes up the first four tracks. Air is a source of renewable energy and a vital source of life on earth. We must breathe in air through our lungs in order to replace the Co2 in our bodies, thus the reasoning for starting out the album with a breath of fresh air. The second chapter of the album is Geothermal energy, which is one of the more promising methods of renewable energy. Using Geothermal heat from the earth we could power thousands of homes with zero waste. Starting with Earth interlude and ending in an Eruption, I bring the warmth of the earth into your heart, where you can use the bass of the songs to power you through your day. My favorite part of the album is the third chapter; Hydropower. Maybe it's just the pisces rising in my chart, but water has spiritual significance to me. I was able to channel my creative energy through AquaClub especially in a way that is very special to me. Water is free, turbulent, spontaneous and deep. Hydropower is a renewable energy source in which turbulent waters power a turbine, which in turn generates electricity. Solar Energy is the process of capturing radiant light from the sun and transforming it into electricity. The fourth and last chapter, Soular brings the turbulence of the album to a slow halt. I connected with the Sun and my Soul through the concept of Solar power. Using the energy from the music, I brought peace to myself. I hope everyone enjoys the album as much as I did making it, and I hope EcoCure is a renewable source of energy for everyone who hears it."
